Jason Kelce Thinks His Super Bowl Ring Was Thrown In The Trash At New Heights Live Show

Jason Kelce believes his Super Bowl ring was thrown in the trash, rather than stolen, after his live show in New Heights with his brother Travis.

Chiefs star Travis and former Eagles center Jason, who recently retired from the NFL, returned to the University of Cincinnati earlier this month for a special edition of their hit podcast.

The brothers organized the inaugural ‘Lombaby Games’, which pitted student-athletes against their fellow students in a series of challenges.

One involved walking through a puddle of chili in search of Jason’s Super Bowl ring, which he won with the Eagles in 2018.

The NFL star later revealed that it was never recovered, leading to suggestions that the ring had been taken. Travis fueled those rumors, stating in this week’s episode, “Dude, you don’t lose it…someone steals it.”

But older brother Kelce has now clarified what he believes happened. In response to a theft suggestion (now deleted) on social media, he wrote: “This is incorrect, and not what I was saying, I don’t believe it was stolen.”

“Based on the video evidence we have, I believe it was accidentally thrown into the trash while I was cleaning it.”

Ironically, the game was only conceived “because I keep losing my Super Bowl ring,” the former Eagles center explained.

He went on to reveal, “I don’t even know if Travis still knows, but I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring at this event.”

‘They couldn’t find it. We have yet to find it, this has all been scrapped. So I think we can safely assume that my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill somewhere in the Cincinnati Tri area.

This is not the first time the ring has disappeared. In the Amazon Prime documentary ‘Kelce’, Jason could be seen trying to locate the jewellery, only to later realize that it was hidden in a sock.
