Shane Warne’s youngest daughter Summer has announced an exciting new career move.
On Wednesday, the 22-year-old revealed that she will be making her acting debut in an upcoming film that is currently in production.
Taking to social media, Summer shared a moment where she was sitting in front of the camera and talking to a co-star at what appears to be a party.
The film, titled Navigating Youth, tells the story of a group of Australian high school students trying to navigate their final days before graduation, according to their Instagram page.
It is written and directed by Mitchell Law and features several promising young actors.
Summer previously spoke out about the difficulties of growing up in the public eye after appearing on Masked Singer Australia.
speaking to Yahoo AustraliaThe young woman detailed what it was like to live with her late father’s fame and said she never wanted to be a celebrity like her cricket star father.
‘I never asked to be in this life. And I think it was very difficult growing up in an environment where your whole life is on the screen,” he explained.

‘And if Dad made a mistake, it would reflect on me. And, you know, I thought people looked at me differently.
She continued: ‘But at the end of the day, dad was who he was and I loved him. And you know, in my opinion, he couldn’t do anything wrong, he’s my father and I love him very much.
Summer is the youngest daughter of legendary cricketer Shane, who died suddenly of a suspected heart attack at the age of 52 on March 4, 2022, while on holiday in Thailand.
Along with her siblings Brooke, 26, and Jackson, 25, Summer established The Shane Warne Legacy Foundation in 2023, which offers free heart disease checks to all Australians.
Shane is considered one of the greatest cricketers in history after taking 708 Test wickets at 25.41 in 145 matches between 1992 and 2007.
His family celebrated the second anniversary of his death in March and his children paid tribute to their late father in a series of emotional posts.

‘I feel like you were here goofing around with us and talking about how good the new season of Peaky Blinders is and we’ll watch the next episode together when you get home.
‘Life really has no meaning without you here. We try to make you proud every day. I miss you, I love you forever.’
Jackson reshared a post uploaded by the Shane Warne Legacy Instagram account with a caption that read: ‘Today marks the second year since Shane left us, but the legacy he leaves lives on stronger than ever.
‘His presence is deeply missed, but his spirit and impact will always be appreciated and remembered. Rest in peace, Shane. You are loved and missed every day.’
