While this week’s edition of Sunday Night Football was fascinating enough to keep NFL fans entertained, some fans turned their attention to the stands in the final moments as cameras focused on one fan.
As the Houston Texans tried to contain a resounding comeback attempt by the Detroit Lions, a local fan was caught in the NBC lens.
A Texans fan was seen clasping her hands in front of her face with less than two minutes left in the game, leading many on social media to admire her beauty.
“Hey, who’s that mom?” wrote one person on X, formerly Twitter.
Another user wrote: “Imagine what he looks like when he’s happy.”
A nervous Houston Texans fan went viral on social media while watching her team
The Texans could not contain the inspired comeback of the Lions, who won with a field goal.
‘Love me some Texas!’ another user proclaimed.
Unfortunately for this mystery woman, her Texans couldn’t stop the Lions from pulling off one of the most stunning comebacks in NFL history.
Houston entered the half up 23-7 after three first-half interceptions by Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
Goff would add two more interceptions in the second half, bringing his total for the night to five.
But miraculously, the Texans did not score a single point in the second half, allowing Detroit to mount a huge comeback to win the game on a last-second field goal by kicker Jake Bates.
The Lions became the first team since 1970 to win a game despite throwing five interceptions and trailing by 15 points.
It’s yet another achievement in a miraculous season in which the Lions sit atop the NFC at 8-1.
They will look to continue their seven-game winning streak this week with a game on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
