Despite the high praise and ratings, some fans were unimpressed, claiming that Wynne and Katya had been overrated.
Some even accused him of “having something in his contract” and others said it depends on who the judges like, while one criticized him as an “absolute joke.”
Taking X, they fumed: ‘wynne is being so blatantly overrated every week and it’s driving me crazy. That dance was easily her worst dance so far in my opinion and yet she got three 8’s????? I’m really baffled #strictly’
‘I’m sorry, but a 31 is a joke! Surely BBC favoritism is at play at the moment? What am I missing that makes me so good to Wynne? #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing’
‘Absolutely fuck you. Both JB and Wynne were massively overrated. Too much game and you lose all the technical aspects. an absolute joke #strictly’
‘Wynne was well overrated IMHO. It was more of a 25 or 26 and definitely not a 31… The judges have people they like and they usually get an extra point per judge. It seems unfair to me, but it’s no longer a dance show….#StrictlySpoiler #strictly #scd’
‘Sorry but I don’t really see what the judges see with Wynne…he just had Katya doing gymnastics on his shoulders for half the dance and even that didn’t look perfect…#Strictly’
‘What the hell does Wynne have written in his contract? Overmarked every time. #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing’

The star who was recently caught in a ‘wandering hand’ incident reportedly joked that her double chin resembled female genitalia while doing her makeup backstage.
Insiders claim Wynne made the nasty joke before the BBC quiz show’s glitzy launch show and said it in a private conversation with a make-up artist.
A source said The mirror: “It was a bit of a vulgar dad joke.”
The publication claimed that at least one other person was in the room at the time and added that the makeup artist was not offended by Wynne’s joke.
