Steps has postponed their remaining What The Future Holds tour dates.

The pop group has made the decision to move Monday night’s show in Cardiff and Wednesday’s show in Bournemouth to summer 2022.

Faye Tozer took to Instagram Monday morning where she broke the news after she and Lee Latchford-Evans tested positive for Covid-19.

Faye announced the news on Instagram, writing: ‘We did our very best to finish the tour. Thank you to everyone who came to support us. I hope we brought a little joy to everyone who came to visit us.

“For now, we must put down our tools and be proud of what we have achieved in these unprecedented times…”

The singer shared an image of a message signed by all band members that read: “Hello everyone. Unfortunately we now have even more positive Covid-19 cases in our tour group making it impossible to continue with the What The Future Holds tour.

“For the safety of everyone involved with the show, we have decided to move the show in Cardiff and Wednesday in Bournemouth to the summer of 2022 (dates to be announced soon.

“We have tried in every possible way to continue with our last show, but we must make everyone’s health and safety our top priority.

“We are so disappointed to have to postpone these shows as we were really looking forward to performing for all of you.

The news comes after it was announced on Saturday that Lee Latchford-Evans had tested positive for Covid-19 and would have to miss the rest of the Steps tour.

Lee’s positive Covid result came just as bandmate Faye Tozer returned to the stage after completing her government-imposed isolation period.

The blonde beauty had to miss several What The Future Holds dates after contracting the viral illness earlier this month.
