Steph Curry briefly lost his cool with a fan outside the U.S. Olympics after-party in Paris

American basketball star Steph Curry briefly lost his cool with a fan outside the Paris Olympics after-party on Saturday night, shortly after his wife was left in tears following an encounter with French police.

Curry, 36, celebrated with his American teammates at the posh L’Avenue restaurant after inspiring their victory over the hosts in Saturday’s gold medal game, where his sensational 24-point haul helped them secure a 98-87 win.

However, before heading to the party, the Golden State Warriors icon’s wife, Ayesha, and his mother, Sonya, were involved in a dispute with police as they attempted to walk back to their car after the game.

The confrontation left Ayesha, Steph’s wife of 13 years, visibly upset in a video captured by Hollywood Fix.

And just hours later, Curry himself had his own heated exchange when an ardent fan seeking an autograph appeared and waved a jersey in Sonya’s face as they left the after-party.

Curry’s wife, Ayesha, was left in tears after a heated confrontation with French police that same night.

“Watch out!” the NBA point guard can be heard yelling in the viral clip, shared by Instagram account @Vendett_Dailly. “Get that out of my mom’s face!”

Unlike her husband’s incident, it is unclear what caused Ayesha’s confrontation with police in Paris on Saturday night.

However, at one point in the video, Sonya is heard screaming that someone had touched baby Caius Chai, the couple’s fourth child who was born prematurely in May. Caius was seen being held in Ayesha’s arms throughout the ordeal.

Curry’s Golden State Warriors teammate Draymond Green was also heard saying someone hit the baby’s head.

Part of the problem appeared to be that Currys and Green were prevented from walking back to their car.

“Look, they won’t let us go back to where we came from,” Sonya said. “They won’t let the driver come here and they won’t let us go back there.”

At one point, a man begins translating for police and offers an apology: “I’m sorry about the baby.”

Curry was not very happy with the fan.

He told them to stay out of his mother's way.

In a video circulating online, the NBA star can be seen telling a fan to get out of his mother’s way.

Curry did not appear in the footage, but Green certainly made his presence felt in the gold medalist’s absence.

—So, even after hitting the baby in the head, there’s still nothing they can do to get him out of here? —he asked.

At one point, an angry Sonya can be heard yelling at the others off-camera: “What? Stop saying my name! You should be helping us with the baby!”

Later, through tears, Sonya simply tells the officers, “Just let us get to our car.”

Although Ayesha is clearly crying, she remains silent throughout the confrontation.

The couple has not responded publicly to the incident.

Curry met Ayesha as a teenager at church in her native Charlotte, where her father was playing at the time. The two eventually married in July 2011.

The elder Curry and his longtime wife, Sonya, have since divorced.

Draymond Green was also on hand to provide support for his teammate's family that night.

Steph and Ayesha announced the birth of Caius at the end of May.

“Our sweet baby boy decided to arrive early!” the four-time NBA champion wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the newborn’s hand. “He’s doing great and we’re finally settling in at home as a family of 6! We’re so thankful!”

It’s unclear when Caius was born, but the couple’s first three children were born in July, right in the middle of the NBA offseason. Their eldest daughter, Riley Elizabeth, was born in July 2012, while their daughter Ryan was born three years later, followed by their first son, Canon, in 2018.
