The couple welcomed their only child into the world in 2015 through in vitro fertilization (IVF) with a donor egg.
Sonia’s resolution comes after she was forced to respond to claims her future at Channel Seven is in doubt.
She was hit with rumors in October that her future with the network could be up in the air after a series of big changes at the network.
The claims followed reports that Sonia would no longer present Big Brother Australia, with Mel Trancia taking over the role when the reality show moves to Network 10 in 2025.
However, both Channel Seven and Sonia have responded to the rumours, describing them as “completely wrong” and insisting she is “happy” at the network.
Although the TV favorite was once one of Seven’s most in-demand stars, rumors have circulated that that may no longer be the case following changes at the network.
However, the spokesman for the Seven denied the Daily TelegraphClaims that these developments had caused the star to fall out of favor at the network.
‘You’re making things up. This is total fiction and completely wrong. “Publishing this rumor would be deliberately misleading,” the spokesperson said.

Despite this, the publication claimed that a “senior source” at Seven said Sonia was “vulnerable” citing her $1.3 million contract.
“Now that Big Brother is gone, he’ll probably do less,” the anonymous source told the outlet.
Sonia’s representatives also poured more water on the rumors and told the publication that Sonia is “happy” at the network.
“Sonia has a long-term contract with Seven, she has not received a salary reduction and she is very happy at the network,” they insisted.
The claims followed unconfirmed reports that Sonia had re-signed with Seven and would announce her new gig at the network’s 2025 Upfronts in the coming months.
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, a source revealed that his new role at the channel will include reporting and “location” work.
“Sonia is at her best when she can improvise,” they said.
“Giving her a microphone and getting real people to open up is a real skill set that she can effortlessly develop, so I think it’s a waste to not reintroduce her in that kind of capacity.” I think Sonia wants more and rightly so.
A second source told the publication that Sonia’s new job at Seven would be “meatier” than her current presenting roles on The Voice and Dancing with the Stars.
Sonia joined Seven in 2020 on a three-year deal and a source indicated her new role will give the much-loved star the chance to show off her journalistic skills.
They even suggested Seven could use Sonia to revive a current affairs format like Today Tonight, a former rival to Nine’s A Current Affair, which aired on Seven between 1995 and 2019.
