Sonia Kruger has put her luxury mansion up for sale for a whopping $18.5 million.

The 56-year-old and her TV executive partner Craig McPherson bought the Mosman beach house for $6.5 million in 2015.

The entertainment power couple have since renovated the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home and are asking nearly triple what they bought it for.

The renovations, which were interrupted in 2020 by the coronavirus pandemic, included a full-scale exterior rendering as well as a complete reconstruction of the third floor.

The third floor now features a wrap-around balcony, outdoor kitchen, dining table and living room.

The upper level originally featured two smaller balconies and a stunning cathedral ceiling inside, which was torn down to build its elegant new outdoor space.

The home also includes a porch with an additional outdoor dining table and a lounge on the ground floor terrace, which leads to the family’s perfectly manicured lawn.

The luxurious home also includes a wet-edge infinity pool, a studio, an internal elevator and private guest rooms.

Other highlights include a limestone kitchen with premium Miele induction appliances and flexible spaces for a gym or media room.

The house also features views of Balmoral Beach, a triple garage and a wine cellar.

But the extensive renovation was not without problems for Sonia and her partner Craig.

In May 2020, Craig told The Daily Telegraph that he regretted starting the renovation, but that it was “too late to go back”.

‘If (coronavirus) had happened before we decided to move forward… there’s no way we would have done it. “It is possibly the worst time to do something like this.”

“But we started the process six months ago and it’s too late to go back.”

It was previously estimated that the major renovation cost the couple $1 million.
