UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya has praised controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate for fighting against male castration and “pushing men to be in charge.”
Just a week after he regained the middleweight title at UFC 287 by defeating longtime contender Alex Pereira, ‘The Last Stylebender’ has taken to the internet to share his views on masculinity.
Appearing on the Honey Badger Hour podcast, with former MMA fighter Emilio Urrutia, Adesanya explained that the labeled misogynist Tate is trying to hold men ‘accountable’.
Jordan (Peterson), Andrew (Tate), Dave Goggins. “Men like that, they are the ones who really push men to be as responsible as men,” Adesanya said.
The world is now trying to soften us. I mean what did they say? I think it was Jordan actually saying how once upon a time, if someone was like royalty and didn’t want to stop an uproar or an uprising, he’d kill all the males of fighting age.

You can’t kill them now, so what do you do? You ar a** select it. Make them feel vulnerable. literally.’
The former Big Brother Tate contender is currently under house arrest in Romania after being detained in December on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organized criminal group to exploit women. He denies these allegations.
Adesanya then went on to say that many men struggle nowadays because they “react” too quickly to problems instead of taking the time to properly “respond” to them in a calm state of mind.
One of the tools I learned in therapy, a year or two ago, is ‘don’t react, respond,’ Adesanya said.
I honestly feel that the situation we’re in as men, a lot of men would save themselves a lot of trouble, and a lot of killing too. I saw many get angry and take out their chests…”
Because they react, you have to respond. Take this time, breathe. Meditate and practice. That’s s**t there. ‘
Earlier in the week, Dana White indicated that Adesanya may be returning to the cage very soon.
Most fighters take some time off after title fights, but the UFC boss says Adesanya has been ‘blowing up’ the phones at UFC HQ and asking for another fight.

“This guy was blowing hunter and boys — when is my next fight, when is my next fight, I want to fight again, I want to fight again,” White said in a post-fight news conference at UFC Kansas City.
I love it at Israel Adesanya. Israel Adesanya wants to fight non-stop, constantly. And he wants to fight everyone. So… yeah, we’re working on that and he’ll be fighting again soon, maybe before the end of the summer.
Adesanya has many wins over several top middleweight competitors, so it is currently unclear who he will face next.
Australian fans are hoping Robert Whitaker, the country’s first UFC champion, will win a third fight with Adesanya.
