Shoppers have been delighted by B&M’s adorable new range of garden decorations, including a variety of cute gnomes.

The budget retailer has released a new set of “charming” garden ornaments that can “add personality and style to your outdoor space”.

Priced from £2, customers can also get their hands on models of owls, toadstools and hedgehogs, many of which double as outdoor lighting.

Hoping to capitalize on people’s desire to reinvigorate their gardens now that the clocks have moved forward, B&M showed a selection of the range on Instagram.

They commented: “Discover affordable ways to add personality and style to your outdoor space! »

As people hoped to revamp their gardens, many were won over by the store’s new line of solar-powered garden ornaments.

One loving viewer commented: “I need the gnomes (heart eyes emoji) x”

Another, similarly, said: “I love the decoration of the garden (heart eyes), very good prices too. »

Someone else reported that they had already visited their local store to research potential purchases to improve their exterior.

“I looked through lots of lush stuff yesterday,” they said.

Another advantage of most light decorations is that they are solar powered: they charge during the day so they can light up your garden at night.

B&M’s new garden range also includes a range of outdoor furniture, barbecues and gardening equipment.

The store – founded as Billington & Mayman in 1978 by Malcolm Billington – also offers discounted prices on household items, clothing and electrical goods.

Its value-for-money offerings have enabled it to become a fixture on the UK’s high streets and retail parks, with a particularly strong presence in the north.

In 2018, B&M’s chief executive, Mr Arora, said he wanted to replicate the success of Aldi and Lidl in the non-food sector: “We want to be to homewares, DIY, toys and stationery what Aldi and Lidl have been for the grocery sector,” he said. said.

He said shoppers in the South East were more likely to spend £100 on a patio set than on a tube of cheap toothpaste or a box of cornflakes.

“Our stores in the Southeast are actually more profitable on average than the rest of the country,” he said.
