New South Wales police said paramedics tried to resuscitate the victim, but he died on the spot.

Ahmad Elhamoui watched television with his young children when he heard the shot.

“My daughter said it sounds like a car … I said,” no no, it sounds like a gunshot, “he said The Daily Telegraph.

“I stood in front of my door with the light out and saw two people arguing after the shot … you couldn’t hear what they were saying.

“Then all these cars came by and parked on the left. I don’t know what was going on, there were more cars on the other side … so they literally blocked the road. “

He said the police arrived ten minutes later.
