Shocking moment: Dog savagely kills cat ‘after owner lifted animal over door and then backed away as attack unfolded’

This is the moment a dog savagely kills a cat after the owner allegedly “lifted the dog over the door” to “facilitate the attack”.

A disturbing video appears to show a medium-sized dog being helped by its owner over a fence before launching its brutal attack on a cat, chasing it through the residential area.

The owner appears to be behind the door, in Harvest Court, Halifax, watching the attack unfold.

After approximately sixty seconds, the dog runs back to its owner, while a woman who lives at one of the properties leaves her house to investigate.

Ameena Islam, a friend of the cat’s owner, shared the images on social media and said the cat died thirty minutes after the attack from “internal bleeding.”

In one post, he claimed the dog was “off leash” and that its owner “callously watched the attack unfold.”

Ameena stated: “At the beginning of the video, it is evident that the owner deliberately raised his dog over the door, apparently to facilitate the attack on the cat. “It is disgusting to subject a defenseless cat to such cruelty, which ultimately results in his tragic death.

“If anyone witnessed the incident, has clear CCTV footage or recognizes the dog, please direct message me and share this video.”

West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for comment.
