Self-proclaimed “Trump Girl” Rain Monroe has uploaded a series of videos to her Instagram account showing her smiling and making funny faces while getting inked at an East London tattoo studio.
The 21-year-old, who has 16,000 followers on the platform, wrote: “Finally did it!” alongside a photo of herself with the fresh tattoo on her face.
Even some of the former president’s most loyal fans had a hard time comprehending what they had just seen.
“Imagine being so desperate for attention,” wrote one.
Monroe smiled and winced as the purple outline was filled in with thick black ink.
But she seemed delighted with the results of her trip to the London tattoo parlour.
The videos show Monroe, wearing a T-shirt reading “Trump Girl”, sitting in tattoo parlour Studio 51 Ink in Leytonstone before having the outline of the word drawn on her forehead.
She has a hushed discussion about the impact her video will likely have in the US before the tattoo artist gets to work.
The purple outline is filled in with thick black ink before the tattoo artist steps back and admires his work.
“I think it’s the best tattoo I’ve ever done,” he says, before giving the thumbs up.
Monroe, who calls herself “the wildest girl on the Internet,” hasn’t posted anything on Instagram since sharing the final video Thursday morning.
Viewers were divided between horror and disbelief at her life-changing decision.
“Girl if that’s real that artist DOESN’T care about you or anyone on your side who witnessed this and didn’t stop it either doesn’t care or wants to see you crash and burn,” one commenter wrote.
“I hope you can wear bangs in the future,” added another.
“Do you even live in the US?!?! LOL,” wrote a third.
Monroe, who offers “exclusive content” on the OnlyFans-style site zez.am, has posted a series of comical videos on Instagram, including one in which she appears to flash her breasts to a crowd of cheering English fans in London’s Trafalgar Square during the World Cup final.
Online reactions ranged from horror to disbelief as the videos went viral.
She has another 3,000 followers on TikTok, but both profile pages are less than six months old.
She has appeared in posts with influencer Jason Moments, who has nine million followers on TikTok and has posted all of her tattoo videos.
Tattoos featuring Trump’s name or face are not uncommon among his most devoted followers, and have surged in popularity since the attempted assassination of the former president last month.
However, few have gone so far as to tattoo their hero’s name on their face.
Thousands of people have expressed their opinions on Monroe’s tattoo videos, many of them bordering on contempt or disgust.
“It really brings out your features,” one chimed in.
“I can only imagine what other amazing decisions you’ve made in your life,” another added.
The tattoo artist who goes by the name sspicy_ink said: “I think this is the best tattoo I’ve ever done,” before posing with her client.
Even fans of the 45th president weren’t impressed with what they had just seen.
