A police officer from Indiana is in a critical but stable condition after being accidentally shot by her partner during the service.
The police of Lafayette have released camera images of the body on which agent Lane Butler, her partner Aaron Wright and a third officer on January 8, look for a house for a fugitive.
After the officers were unable to find the suspect, Butler was seen on the camera and left the house with Wright following her followed with his pistol.
Authorities say that when a dog attacked Wright, he fired his rifle and slapped Butler.
Butler wore a bulletproof vest, but the bullet hit it right on top of her shoulder.

Camera recordings from the body show that the two officers are immediately assisting Butler.
Wright runs downstairs to attack another police car that responds to the scene and they help Butler in, who is aware of everything.
Eventually an ambulance arrives and if they stop her, Butler seems to get shocked and collapses.
She is now recovering at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.
