Sheree had been dating her new boyfriend for three months and thought things were going well… but then she made a surprising discovery at a family gathering.

The New Zealand expat shared her mortifying story on Will and Woody’s KIIS FM afternoon radio show during their “worst dates” segment.

And it would take an extremely bad dating experience to get over his story.

Sheree was excited to meet her boyfriend’s parents, which she saw as the next step in their relationship, after the couple met through a mutual friend.

“I had never met his parents before, but he had told me many stories about them,” she recalled.

“He said he was very close to his father, his mother and his entire family.”

“So, I ended up going to the barbecue and… I recognized your dad,” he told Will and Woody to gasps from the radio duo.

“Oh, no,” Will said.

Sheree revealed that she “had met her father in the past on a dating app and I had dated her father.”

Chaos ensued in the studio, with Woody asking: ‘My God, had you hooked up with the father?’

“Yeah, I did…in a park,” Sheree admitted.

Woody was already laughing hysterically and struggling to speak.

It is unclear when Sheree dated the father and how old she was when she met him.

It is also unknown if Sheree’s new relationship lasted.
