He captured the heart of Australia when he came second to Guy Sebastian on Australian Idol in 2003.
But now Shannon Noll has wowed fans with his remarkable body transformation in a recent Instagram post.
On Saturday, the 47-year-old posted a post-workout image featuring Shannon looking extremely muscular.
He captioned the post, ‘I’ve been back in the gym for 3 months now and I’m really enjoying it! Looking forward to ramping it up and getting my diet and routine on track! #youhavetolift’.
Fans responded to the comments, expressing their shock at Noll’s radical body makeover.

“Gosh, he looks like a million dollars!” wrote one.
‘Wow! Look wow, you look fantastic’, another fan of the Orange-born star marveled.
Even Channel Seven star Grant Denyer weighed in by simply writing “Unit” to Shannon’s post.
The post comes after Noll proudly introduced his burgeoning rock star son Blake, 20, to the music industry.
Nollsie said women’s Day magazine, he is “very proud” of his son, who is actively pursuing his “dreams” of becoming an artist.
“He’s just started, so he’s not expecting big things at the moment, but he clearly has hopes and dreams. I’m really proud of him,” he told the publication.

Nollsie has invited his son on stage several times during his performances.
In January, the pair played the Tamworth Music Festival and fans even demanded “heartbreaking” Blake’s autograph.
“I think the heartbreaking days are long gone for me,” Nollsie said with a laugh, adding that he’s happy to pass the baton to his son.
Blake, an apprentice tradition, said he started playing guitar about a year ago and was always a little nervous about singing and performing for his famous father.

“Once I realized that singing is more like a muscle, and it gets stronger and better the more you do it, I kept doing it in the car and I started to have more faith in myself, and then I started learning the guitar, because I knew I would sing more when I played’, he explained.
Nollsie now lives on the acreage in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, with wife Rochelle and their four children; Cody, 21, Blake, 20, Sienna, 16, and Colton, four.
Last year he said living in Sydney was costing him gigs, which influenced his decision to move to his 100-acre estate near Casino.

“I was 500 meters in Sydney last year and lost about 20 performances there,” he told The Daily Telegraph at the time.
“People from Tasmania flew over me to replace me on gigs in Queensland, so it was really tough,” he added.
