Spanish media reported that Shakira will begin her new life in the United States with her two children by the end of next week, after she began dating a mysterious man in the city.
It emerged last month that the Colombian singer-songwriter, 46, was looking on April 1 to move to Miami with her sons Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight, after her split from the children’s father Gerard Pique, 36.
Respected Spanish showbiz site Vanitatis Shakira said on Friday that those close to her and the paramedics who were caring for her elderly parents would leave Spain permanently by the end of the week.
She stated: ‘A large portion of the singer’s inner circle already knew she was leaving.
“Kids stopped participating in extra-curricular activities like baseball some time ago.”

The ill health of her 91-year-old father, William Mubarak, was initially cited as the main reason she abandoned plans to move to Miami at the start of the year after signing a child custody agreement with Pique in December.
The couple, who separated last May after 11 years together, confirmed in November that they had reached an agreement after lengthy negotiations that culminated in a 12-hour long meeting with their lawyer. They signed the agreement in a Barcelona court the following month.
As part of the agreement, retired footballer Pique, who is now dating 24-year-old Catalan beauty Clara Xia, will spend time with his children.
It is understood that Shakira’s desire to move to Miami, where she was living with part of her family, was the main sticking point in the former ex-couple’s failure to reach an out-of-court settlement.
Vanitatis says Shakira, her parents and children will all be living together when they get to Miami.
