The Sydney-based woman who goes by her stage name Snowy Alaska (pictured) said she won a paltry amount while dancing in a club one night during a shift.

A sex worker has revealed she once earned $15 in a night as a stripper, blaming Australia’s lack of tipping culture for the paltry amount.

The woman, who lives in Sydney and uses her stage name Snowy Alaska, confessed to comedian Benjamin ‘Frenchy’ French on the ‘Frenchy Show’.

“The lowest I’ve ever made as a stripper is $15,” she said.

The figure is drastically less than the thousands of dollars strippers claim to make in a night; one of them said she made almost $2,000 in one shift.

Alaska explained that it was not unusual to earn such a low amount of money and said Australia did not have the same tipping culture as the United States.

“There will be a girl dancing on stage and no one will tip,” he said.

‘In Australia, it’s completely different. In the United States, the culture of tipping is widespread. How you tip your waiter. In Australia, it is not common to distribute money in that way.

‘That’s why it’s even unnatural to see people do it. Some are good, but you can tell that a lot of men just don’t want to spend the money.

Customers in Australia do not typically pay tips, unlike in the United States, where a 20 percent tip is added to the cost of the service.

Alaska’s admission left the host absolutely stunned as he revealed he earned more working as a soccer referee at a children’s game.

“The busker at the front gets more than that,” Mr. French said.

Alaska revealed that her salary increased dramatically and she earned up to $2,500 in one night once she changed careers within the sex industry.

“That was just because of the massages and reservations,” he said.

Alaska said she decided to start making money offering massages after meeting a group of men who told her she would make more.
