Senator Lidia Thorpe to be suspended from Parliament after another controversial stunt

Senator Lidia Thorpe will be suspended from Parliament for the rest of the week after she trashed a motion by One Nation leader Pauline Hanson in the chamber.

Sources in both the Coalition and Labor Party say their antics are considered serious enough for action to be taken against them, the ABC reported.

The matter is expected to be raised in the Senate at 6:00 pm local time.
