She correctly pronounced it ‘Mel-bin’ instead of ‘Mel-bourne’, as many Americans do.

“Congratulations on the way you said Melbourne!” the cast of The Project told him, genuinely impressed.

This comes after Chrishell gave fans a shocking update about her supporting role on Neighbors.

Chrishell, who recently tied the knot for the second time to Australian musician G Flip, made the surprise announcement that she would be joining the series in a recent Instagram post.

She took to Instagram to answer a fan’s question about her experience on the soap opera.

Chrishell shared a screenshot of a direct message asking her about her character on the show.

“Are you playing an American in Neighbours or did you have to work on your Australian accent?” the message read.

In the screenshot, Chrishell confessed that her character shared her nationality.

“For everyone’s sake, I’m playing an American. My Australian accent needs work,” she added.

Chrishell is currently in Australia to appear in a reboot of the iconic Australian soap opera Neighbours.

The show describes Yasmine as “a glamorous and successful businesswoman looking for an exciting new opportunity.”

In The Project, he clarified that the character is a lighting director.

“He was due to arrive on set in July,” the show said, adding that “fans can expect intrigue and surprises, and plenty of implications for the residents of Ramsay Street.”
