Hollywood producer Sean Stone died at age 31 after a battle with cancer.

Stone, who worked on action films starring Bruce Willis, John Travolta and Mel Gibson, died Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, his family said. THR.

In July he was diagnosed with metastatic neuroendocrine colon cancer.

Stone was a creative executive on the 2022 films Hot Seat (starring Kevin Dillon and Mel Gibson), Wire Room (starring Dillon and Bruce Willis) and produced the upcoming John Travolta film Cash Out and its sequel.

He is survived by his parents, David and Ileen, his brothers Ashley, Justin, Michael, Mallory and Brian and his nieces Ella and Sloane.

Stone was born on August 24, 1992 and grew up in New Jersey.

He graduated from the University of Arizona before moving to Los Angeles in 2017 to pursue his career in film production.

He joined the agency CAA before moving to Emmett/Furla as an assistant in 2020.

He then began freelancing as an executive producer on film projects.

His other projects include Wrong Place, starring Willis, and Twilight actress Ashley Greene.

The stone will be entombed at Mount Sinai Cemetery and Mausoleum in Morganville, New Jersey, on Thursday, March 7.

Stone was born on August 24, 1992 and grew up in New Jersey.
