A shouting match broke out on a JetBlue flight between a mother and another passenger when he accused her of delaying takeoff by having “too many children” on the plane.
Video footage taken by fellow passenger Chanel Morel shows the moment when things went from 0 to 100, very quickly.
The woman appeared to be blamed for multiple delays after handing her son over to a good Samaritan after being told the child needed to sit with an adult.
The incident took place on a flight from JFK Airport in New York City to Cibao International Airport in the Dominican Republic on June 23.
“We’ve been late a few times already, it wasn’t his fault,” Morel told PPV Tahoe.

Mother’s teenage son stepped in to defend his father after a man unleashed his anger.
The plane was about to take off when the flight attendant noticed the mother was carrying two babies and a 13-year-old son. The teenager was carrying his younger sister and the mother was carrying the other baby, Morel said.
The flight attendant informed the mother that another adult had to be present. After the pilot learned of the incident, the plane had to return to the gate.
However, a good Samaritan offered to hold the baby on his lap when the plane arrived back at the gate. The mother agreed, so the reservation was changed so the baby was in the other passenger’s name.
The problem was resolved and the plane returned to the runway, however, just before takeoff, another passenger yelled at the mother, blaming her for all the problems.
“As soon as the problem was resolved and we were about to take off, the guy started going crazy and yelling at her,” Chanel said.
As the man yelled at the mother, her teenage daughter defended her, outraged by the lack of respect.
“Who do you think you’re talking to like that in front of my mother?” the teenager said.
The incident quickly escalated after a man confronted the mother and her teenage son.
The man swore at the teenager, and that’s when the mother intervened and yelled at the man for directing his anger toward a minor.
Most airlines say that one adult passenger can care for a maximum of two children while on a plane.
