Scott McTominay is reportedly being monitored for his ‘risky’ diet at Antonio Conte’s Napoli.
The midfielder takes home a training note every day that tells him what he can and cannot eat.
McTominay, 27, joined Napoli for £25.7million this summer, ending his 22-year association with Manchester United.
In south-west Italy he is under the tutelage of Antonio Conte and it has been a good ride so far, with Napoli second in Serie A.
However, his culinary exploits are strictly guided by the “many temptations of Neapolitan cuisine,” according to the local newspaper. The Mattino through calcionapoli24.

Former Manchester United star told what to eat each night and warned against dairy products
Antonio Conte is a proponent of the Mediterranean ‘bresaola diet’, which is rich in vegetables and protein-rich white meats.
That palette, as food lovers can attest, includes ice cream, pizza, pasta and cheese.
It is standard protocol for foreign players to have their diet under control and Conte wants “everyone to be in top form” to achieve their goals.
McTominay in particular is believed to have been warned about the appeal of dairy products.
Of course, it’s no surprise to see a top European club crack down on what its stars eat.
Conte is known to be a stickler for high standards and when he had Romelu Lukaku at Inter Milan, where they won the Scudetto in 2020-21, the striker lost 25 kilos within weeks of joining.
Lukaku was accused of being overweight towards the end of his time at Manchester United and reportedly weighed 104kg upon joining Inter.
Conte had the Belgian adopt his “bresaola diet”, meaning fried foods, mozzarella and alcohol were firmly off the menu, while a Mediterranean menu of vegetables and protein-rich white meats such as turkey and chicken were on the table.

That menu helped Lukaku achieve immense success at Inter, where he scored 78 goals in 132 games, won Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup and reached the final of the Champions League.
At Napoli, Conte has Tiberio Ancora and a team of personalised staff to take care of his players’ nutrition.
McTominay is reported to have bonuses tied to his contract if he helps them to a league title, so he will be hoping his new diet pays off.
