Scottish fans have been expressing their frustrations after their team was knocked out of Euro 2024 on Sunday afternoon following an agonizing last-minute loss to Hungary.
Steve Clarke’s side pushed for a late goal, with Grant Hanley hitting the post in injury time, but they were unable to find the back of the net.
Hungary would then turn the tide for the Scots, with Kevin Csoboth completing a sensational counterattack by firing a Roland Sallai pass into the back of the Scottish net to seal a 1-0 victory.
It was a disappointing end to the tournament for Scotland, who will finish last in Group A, after losing two matches and drawing one.
After the match, some Scottish fans expressed their criticism of their team, which only had one shot on goal during the match, while Hungary had five.

This means Scotland’s wait to reach the last 16 of a European Championship or World Cup will continue, with this being the 12th time the Scots have been sent off in the group stage of a major tournament.

Clarke was also asked if he had spoken to the referee, and Clarke said: “What’s the point?”
‘He is from Argentina. Why isn’t he a European referee? I don’t understand why he is here and not in his country refereeing a match. That is just my opinion.’
