Candice Warner has revealed what really happened between herself and Roxy Jacenko during their boxing match at SAS Australia last week.
Appear on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa show on Tuesday, Candice said Roxy “ couldn’t take a hit ” during their fight and admitted she was “ shocked ” when the publicist stated last week that they were no longer friends.
“ Let’s just say we know what we got into and there was a chance to pull out before the fight, ” explained the former Ironwoman, 35.

“If we wanted to, we could say at the time, ‘No, we don’t want to do this,’ but we both chose to put on gloves, put on the helmet,” she added.
Radio host Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald then pointed out that Roxy had said on the radio last week that she walked out of the show after the boxing match because she didn’t want to punch her girlfriend in the face “for entertainment.”
After hearing an audio clip where Roxy discussed the collision, Candice said bluntly, “She tried, but she didn’t get hit. That’s the honest truth. ‘

Candice also revealed that she apologized to Roxy at the time, but admitted it was difficult to speak up with the strict SAS staff who watched every move.
‘I apologized, but it was not broadcast. I was shocked by her comments and I’m really sorry she feels that way, ‘she added.
When asked if she and Roxy were still talking to each other, Candice answered curtly, “Apparently not.”
Clarification: “Let’s just say we know what we got into and there was a chance to pull out before the fight,” explained the 35-year-old former Ironwoman.
Last Tuesday, Roxy officially ended her friendship with Candice after they competed in a brutal boxing match on the military-inspired show.
Roxy, 40, explained The Kyle and Jackie O Show that she no longer considers Candice a friend after the women face off in a physical fight during the season premiere of SAS Australia.
While Candice hit Roxy several times during the fight, the Sydney publicist said she refused to retaliate because of their long-standing friendship.
What they didn’t show: ‘I apologized, but it wasn’t broadcast. I was shocked by her comments and I’m really sorry she feels that way, ‘she revealed
‘You know what? Is [Candice] really my friend anymore? No, ”Roxy raged.
‘Do you know why I never hit back? She’s my buddy and I’m not going to hit [her] in the face for the entertainment of others, ”she added.
You wouldn’t continue punching if the person – me – turned their back and continued punching in the back of the head. This is not allowed at all in boxing. The reality is, I can’t punch my then-boyfriend in the face for people’s entertainment. ‘

“You look back and go,” F ** k, I should’ve hit her, “but you know what? I’m bigger than that and I respect other people, ”she continued.
Roxy said she reached out to Candice after filming the show in the NSW Snowy Mountains in August and tried to mend their broken friendship.
But instead of accepting the olive branch, Roxy claimed that Candice just “ fired ” her as her manager.
“No, she fired me instead,” Roxy laughed. ‘People will always disappoint you. I believe after what I did for Candice it was a real slap in the face, apologies for the pun. ‘
