The Adidas Sambas have been hugely popular with celebrities, like Katie Holmes (left) and Hailey Bieber (right), who have both been seen rocking the shoes.

Gigi Hadid is also a fan of these sneakers, having been seen wearing them on several occasions, including during a photo shoot in October.

“So I’ve been wearing the Adidas Sambas for about a year and I want to give my honest opinion because I don’t want you to make the same mistakes I did,” Welch began in the clip.

While Welch went on to explain that she likes this shoe because it pairs well with other items in her wardrobe — and even bought a second pair in black — things have changed since She bought Adidas Gazelle sneakers.

“I bought the Gazelles last week and wore them all weekend. They feel like I’ve had them for ten years, they’re so comfortable,” she explained.

“They’re a lot wider than the Sambas because the Sambas are very narrow, and for someone who’s nine feet tall, I don’t have wide feet or anything like that, I feel like “They squeeze my toes together in a really uncomfortable way,” the stylist continued.

Welch said that while visiting New York, she wore the Samba sneakers while walking around for a “long time” but ended up with tons of blisters.

She even admitted that she had to put bandages on her feet after wearing them because there were so many sore spots.

“I bought them in black, I don’t know why, I thought it would be different, but it’s not, they’re actually worse,” Welch lamented.

“That’s because the edge of these, back here, is higher,” she added, pointing to the back of the shoe.

In the video, Welch explained that she recently purchased a pair of Adidas Gazelles, and that they had already surpassed the comfort of the Sambas.

“I bought them in black, I don’t know why, I thought it would be different, but it’s not, they’re actually worse,” Welch lamented about his Samba purchase.

She said that because of the shoe’s higher lip, it “digs” into your ankle when you wear it.

So instead of the Samba sneaker, Welch definitely prefers the Gazelles as his shoe of choice.

“This shoe here, the Gazelle, is so comfortable,” the content creator said.

“As I said, it’s wider in the foot area, so I feel like I have more space, and it’s also very comfortable here, I don’t feel like it digs into the back of my ankle.”

She advised viewers to be careful about the style of shoes they buy from the popular sportswear brand.

“So if you’re thinking about the Samba, let me encourage you to try them on in store and really walk around with them and see if you like the way your feet feel in them,” Welch argued.

“Then try the Gazelles and see if you like them better, because I would recommend them to the Sambas.”

In the comments section of his video, many users seemed to agree with his take on the viral Adidas sneaker.

“I have both too. I definitely prefer the Gazelle – the Sambas also hit weird in my arch,” one person wrote.

Another agreed: “THIS!! I wore them for a whole day and my fourth nail turned purple!! It’s been purple for three weeks now!!’

“The first day I wore them, they gave me blisters. I wondered how the influences wore them and noticed they wore them with long socks. So I only wear them with long socks,” someone else wrote.

Others pointed out that this could be because Sambas were made to play indoor football.

“I played indoor soccer, Sambas are made for soccer not walking,” said one TikTok user.

A second person wrote: “Sambas are indoor soccer shoes. Why are they trendy??
