Samantha Mumba, 41, showed off her fashion-forward style in an asymmetrical khaki dress at the event, which was held at the Hollywood Athletic Club.

The Irish singer, who rose to fame at the age of 17 with the release of her debut single Gotta Tell You, oozed confidence in the skin-baring dress.

The quirky number featured a three-quarter length mock shirt on one side, while revealing a sexy basque neckline on the other.

Samantha paired the unusual dress with a pair of tall black suede boots and accessorized it with multiple beaded bracelets.

Samantha became a household name after her debut single Gotta Tell You was a huge hit in the UK and reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

However, after scoring six top ten singles but no number ones, she was dropped from her label and ventured into acting.

In 2007, the singer attempted to give a comeback concert in her hometown of Dublin, but due to low ticket sales, the concert was cancelled.

She said at the time: “I’m disappointed that the Dublin gig has been cancelled, but I’m excited for the showcase in London and I hope that when my new album comes out I can play it live in Dublin, as has always been my dream to carry my show to my hometown.”

Samantha has appeared in some independent films and also starred in the Christmas panto Robinson Crusoe and the Pirates of the Caribbean.

The Irish star has built a new life in Los Angeles after retiring from music.

Samantha married her police officer husband, Torray Scales, in February 2012.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby together in September 2014 and welcomed daughter Sage in March 2015.
