Sam Kerr’s attempt to have a case against her dismissed has been postponed after she was accused of allegedly calling a police officer a “stupid white PC.”
Footballer Kerr, 30, was charged in March with racially aggravated harassment of a police officer and pleaded not guilty, with a four-day trial scheduled for February 2025 at Kingston Crown Court.
His case was mentioned at Kingston Crown Court today, and the judge declared it adjourned until his next appearance on Monday, May 20. No representatives from Kerr or the prosecution attended.
The judge said: ‘This case was due to continue today, but the defense made an application to adjourn and reset the timetable. That has been resolved and today’s hearing has been cancelled.
“The defense must present its response before May 1 and the prosecution before May 15. The request will now appear for Monday, May 20.”

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed at the time that the incident, on January 30, 2023, was sparked by a dispute over a taxi fare before Kerr allegedly used insulting, threatening or abusive words which caused alarm or distress to the PC. Lovell.
