Ryan Reynolds ‘went back in time’ to reflect on his nearly 10 years playing Deadpool as his latest sequel, Deadpool & Wolverine, continues to break box office records.
The 47-year-old Canadian actor, who recently revealed who he argued with on the set of Deadpool and Wolverine, spoke out about his… Instagram on Saturday to commemorate the milestone with a series of stills from the superhero film.
Many of the photos offered a behind-the-scenes look at the Marvel blockbuster, which grossed more than $390 million domestically in just 10 days, boasting one of the biggest second weekends in history, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Almost a decade of being able to do this. 10 years ago, we would have gleefully taken these CRAZY second weekend numbers as our opening weekend,” Ryan began his heartfelt message.
He continued: “The way #DeadpoolAndWolverine has captured the moment is hard to process. It feels a bit like it’s happening to someone else. Either way, making these movies has been more fun than anyone has any right to have. I can’t help but reminisce a little bit about the past.”
