Sydney PR queen Roxy Jacenko found herself this week on the receiving end of a scathing review from an unlikely source.
The 44-year-old shared a touching photo with her children, Pixie and Hunter, on Instagram to celebrate her dual role as a businesswoman and mother.
But the post attracted an unexpected rebuke from Tricia Hitchen, former Penrith mayor, retired police officer and current Penrith Panthers board member.
Hitchen accused Jacenko of using his children to “boost” his career.
“I’m successful in my life, I’m successful in my career, I wouldn’t use my children to further my career,” he said.

Jacenko shared the comment on her page and wrote: “Now I’m using my kids to boost my career, for God’s sake someone call the police.”
Jacenko also said The Daily Telegraphwas surprised to receive criticism from someone who claims to “support women.”
“I have never met this person, but given her profile in the community and her experience as a retired police officer, she should surely know better than to be a keyboard warrior,” he added.
Daily Mail Australia has approached Ms Hitchen for comment.

The post drew an unexpected rebuke from Tricia Hitchen, who accused Jacenko of using her children to “boost” her career.
It comes after the PR expert broke her seven-month streak of sobriety last weekend while celebrating her friend Martinica Canha’s wedding.
In a video posted to her Instagram, Jacenko tilted her head back as a group of men lifted her up on the dance floor.
Another man then poured whiskey into his mouth as guests cheered.
“Thinking about our darling’s most memorable wedding…entering the barber chair tradition,” he wrote.
“I’m successful in my life, I’m successful in my career, I wouldn’t use my kids to boost my career,” he said.
