Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin made a rare public appearance with two of his children Monday night when he attended a Kamala Harris rally in Philadelphia.
The 52-year-old star took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself and his twin sons Matteo and Valentino, 16, posing alongside Vice President Kamala Harris, who failed to win the 2024 US presidential election.
Martin was dressed in a black sweater and matching baggy pants, and his teenage sons looked equally stylish in blazers as they smiled for the camera alongside Harris, 60.
The Livin’ la vida loca hitmaker captioned his post: “History class for my kids.” It is a pleasure to perform at your rally in Philadelphia. Don’t forget to vote family. @kamalaharris #harrisforpresident’, but disabled comments.
In another snapshot, Martin smiles from ear to ear as he watches Harris shake the hand of one of his children, and then the singer took the stage in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to perform for his fellow Democratic supporters.

Martin also shares daughter Lucia, five, and son Renn, also five, with husband Jwan Yosef, but typically chooses to keep her children out of the spotlight.
As Election Day began on November 5, Martin was active on his Instagram Stories and wrote, ‘Good luck America, I hope it’s a girl!’ but he hasn’t posted anything since it was announced that Donald Trump had won.
But he’s not the only one, as Hollywood celebrities who led the charge to back Harris on the campaign trail have remained silent after Trump achieved a resounding election victory.
Harris had dozens of stars endorsing her White House bid, with showbiz royalty Oprah and Beyoncé, among others, joining her at events.
Box office stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts appeared in his campaign ads, and millennial and Gen Z icons like Taylor Swift and Charli XCX urged citizens to go to the polls, but his campaign’s reliance on “virtue signaling” A- listeners was not enough.
Trump, 78, became the nation’s next president after capturing votes in a wave of swing states, winning both the popular vote and the electoral college overnight.
He received endorsements from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, former WWE star Hulk Hogan and Joe Rogan, who provided a last-minute endorsement for the Republican candidate on the eve of Election Day.
While it’s debatable what effect celebrity endorsements actually have on voters, experts say Rogan’s unique endorsement of his millions of followers likely helped Trump far more than the star-studded lineup that preached the blue wall.

MAGA supporters took to social media to congratulate Trump after he was declared the winner of the 2024 election.
“The American people gave @realdonaldtrump a very clear mandate for change tonight,” Musk, who attended Trump’s election night party, tweeted on his X social media platform.
Rogan, whose last-minute endorsement is believed to have resonated with male voters, wrote: ‘EVERYTHING. LEEWARD. STREET.’
Country musician John Rich celebrated the win with a post that read: ‘WE WON!! Thank you Lord!!’
“THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE NO LATE NIGHT BALLOT DELIVERY…THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN,” added comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider.
