The girlfriend of the Mexican bandit accused of murdering two Australian brothers during a dream surfing trip is a cockfighting enthusiast and a young mother.
Ari Gisell, 23, has been arrested along with her partner Jesús Gerardo, 36, and her brother Cristian Alejandro after the three tourists disappeared in the Baja California region on April 27.
Mexican authorities will allege that Jesus, also known as ‘El Kekas’, murdered Australian brothers Callum, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, and their American friend Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, during a botched robbery.
The trio’s burned truck was discovered on May 3 on a property in the Santo Tomas area, near their last known campsite.
Their bodies were found that same day lying in a nearby well, each with a single gunshot wound to the head.
Ari, who has been charged with drug possession and was allegedly found with a phone belonging to one of the dead brothers, is now a key prosecution witness against her boyfriend.

The brothers Jesús Gerardo and Cristian Alejandro were two of the three suspects arrested. It is unclear which brother is which in their mugshots.
In court Wednesday, where the last names of the three Mexican suspects were redacted, she claimed that Jesus had confessed to her that he had “fucked three gringos” and stolen tires from the trio’s pickup truck.
Ari’s turn on her boyfriend comes as Daily Mail Australia can reveal she vowed to stay by his side “forever” in a gushing social media post just six months ago.
Ari frequently posts about his daily life in Mexico, including his love of bad boys and cockfighting.
In the video, Ari can be seen taking a bus with a relative to visit Jesus in prison.
‘I will wait for you until the end,’ he wrote, along with emojis of chains, a woman and a man.
Other social media posts, shared as recently as May 1, feature adorable references to her boyfriend, including referring to him as her “husband” and memes that joke that she was the dominant partner in their relationship.
Ari, who has a four-year-old son, also frequently shares jokes about his life as bandits and his love for bad boys.
In late April, she shared a meme showing a person sitting in a car while police followed closely, along with a laughing emoji.
A day later, he shared a photo of Al Pacino with Michelle Pfeiffer in a scene from the iconic crime movie Scarface, with the blurb ‘pretty girls don’t date pretty people, they date crazy people!’
She captioned the post ‘Mi mero mole,’ which translates to ‘this is my thing,’ along with a drooling and laughing emoji.
On May 1, just four days after the alleged murders, he shared a meme of a man standing with his mouth open looking at someone off camera, with the description: “Me watching my friend being slapped who said he was the one.” boss in your relationship.” .’

Aside from her self-proclaimed penchant for criminals, Ari is also a cockfighter, and photos posted online show her posing next to roosters and trophies.

Ari, who is a mother, bragged about being the ‘boss’ in the couple’s relationship in online posts. However, she told police that she was a victim of domestic violence behind closed doors.

Jesus, the accused ringleader of the execution-style murders of brothers Robinson and Rhoad, has been charged with forcible kidnapping and faces a court hearing Wednesday.
In court, Ari, who appeared as a prosecution witness, told authorities that Jesus returned home on April 27 and admitted that he had killed the three men.
Ari said he then took her outside and showed her his car was fitted with tires allegedly stolen from the trio’s ute.
She said she fled to her mother’s house with her son after learning what happened. She was arrested by the police that same day.
Ari told officers she was a victim of domestic violence and was willing to cooperate in their investigation.
Jesús has not pleaded guilty and it is expected that his charges could still be upgraded to murder.

Brothers Robinson, originally from Perth, and Rhoad were on a road trip along the west coast of northern Mexico when they failed to check into their pre-arranged Airbnb on April 27.
They were reported missing two days later, prompting a desperate search by authorities who were alarmed when they went to their last known location and discovered their campsite covered in blood.
Days later, authorities located their burned car and their bodies at the bottom of a four-meter well.
A fourth body was also found inside the well, believed to belong to the owner of the property. Police believe he was murdered on an earlier date.
Police allege that El Kekas, who has a criminal record for drug trafficking, vehicle theft and domestic violence, shot the men after they resisted when he was stealing their tires.
His brother, who was also arrested, has been charged with drug possession.
Kekas is due to appear in court in November.
