Red Bull has released its latest limited edition version, just in time for the promise of warmer weather.

With hints of passion fruit and peaches, Red Bull UK’s new product uses hints of curuba from South America, commonly known as ‘banana passion fruit’.

Launching on March 11, The Red Bull Summer Edition Curuba Elderflower will be available in stores nationwide for £1.55 for 250ml.

The new combination is completed by the floral notes of fresh elderflower, resulting in an explosion of exotic flavors.

According to research, Generation Z is impressed with the drink, even those who were not previously fans of the Red Bull brand.

This vibrant green canned drink is best served chilled and over ice or simply enjoyed straight from the can for a refreshing twist.

To beat the heat, Red Bull Summer Edition Curuba Elderflower can also be prepared into a luxury cocktail, the ideal summer dinner.

Experts recommend that hosts can create expertly blended concoctions by combining the elderflower flavors of curuba with Everleaf Forest and peach syrup.

Or if you’re a teetotaler, try some non-alcoholic strawberry liqueur for a delicious evening drink if you want to impress your sober guests.

The options are endless with Red Bull’s latest limited-edition offering, whether you’re hosting a barbecue this summer or a cocktail party.

And if you’re sober, you can always make a fruity mocktail, perfect for a quick pick-me-up after a run or at a dinner party.

One woman, called Alexia, 25, said: “I’ve never considered myself a Red Bull girl, but this might have converted me.”

Maeve, 22, added: “Beach BBQ season is coming,” while George wrote: “Easily one of my favourites.”

Andre chimed in to describe the summer drink as a “big” love of his, while Lydia, 24, said: “It’s giving SUMMER.”

Sophie, 27, chimed in and said: “Delicious even at 8am, sipped from a small cup of tea.”

But last year, experts sounded a note of caution and called for a drink-driving-like campaign to tell drinkers that mixing alcohol with energy drinks can make them violent.

This comes from a study on the consequences of consuming alcohol mixed with energy drinks, such as Jägerbombs.

Scientists in the United States discovered that people who enjoy such drinks are more likely to become “physically and sexually” aggressive.

For example, they were up to six times more likely to fight and twice as likely to “sexually take advantage of another.”
