The partner of a Real Madrid player slammed Carlo Ancelotti after the Spanish giants suffered an embarrassing defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League.
Real Madrid were beaten 3-1 at the Bernabeu on Tuesday to put pressure on the Italian after a difficult start to the season.
Ancelotti’s side have lost two of their four games in the revamped Champions League and languish in 17th place, while they are also nine points behind Barcelona in LaLiga after losing 4-0 to their arch-rivals last month.
The defeat to Milan was another frustrating night in which Real’s defensive weaknesses were exposed and Federico Valverde, playing in right midfield, was taken off at half-time alongside Aurelien Tchouameni as Ancelotti attempted to get back into the game.
However, this angered journalist Mina Bonino, Valverde’s partner, who apparently criticized the decision on social media.

The under-criticized Italian coach has come under more pressure as Real’s problems continued
Posting on her X account, she said: “I better stay quiet because they would take me to jail.”
One user then claimed that the decision to replace Valverde was purely tactical, something that further angered Bonino.
“Brother, Fede plays better as a pivot and in recovery,” he responded. ‘What are you talking about?
‘When are they going to understand once and for all that Fede is not a winger?’
However, Bonino later claimed that her account had been compromised and that she was not the source of those messages when she said: “It’s not me, I was hacked.”
After the defeat, Ancelotti was pressed about Bonino’s claims and defended his decision.
‘What people think on social media… for me is very complicated,’ he said.
“I replaced him because for me he was not at 100 percent, he had back problems, he seemed to have recovered because yesterday he trained well but it seemed like he was not at his best physical level, that’s why I changed him.”
Real Madrid will return to action on Saturday when they face Osasuna in LaLiga before the November international break gives Ancelotti a chance to recover.
Meanwhile, reflecting on Real Madrid’s difficult form, Ancelotti spoke about the problems his team is facing and admitted he understood why they are under pressure.
Mina Bonino, Federico Valverde’s teammate, criticized Ancelotti’s tactical decisions in the match
Bonino was outraged because Valverde was removed by the Italian coach at half-time
“Worry is normal,” he said. ‘We have to fix it. We have conceded too many goals in the last few games and that was our strong point.
‘In today’s game we had many opportunities. What stands out today, at least for me, is not the attack, but the ease with which the opposing team finds offensive solutions.
‘No, it seems normal to me (that people question my decisions). When the team does not perform at its best, the coach is responsible. But it is very important that we all take responsibility.
“It’s good that the players are depressed, like me. The night is going to be very long, that’s good, so we can all think about how to improve. We are confident that we are going to improve and compete in all the competitions, as we always do. we have done.”
