Radio host recalls bizarre moment when he delivered his own sperm ‘in a party bag’ to a fertility clinic – before being noticed by a fan in the waiting room
He is a familiar face in Melbourne thanks to his popular KIIS FM breakfast show.
But Jase Hawkins certainly didn’t expect to come face to face with a fan at a fertility clinic, as he clumsily delivered a “ party bag ” of his own sperm to the doctor.
Talk through Jase & PJ On Tuesday, the father of two explained that he and his wife, Louise, had made an appointment to have sperm counts checked in case they ever wanted more children in the future.
Clumsy! On Tuesday, KIIS FM presenter Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins revealed he came face to face with a fan while delivering a ‘party bag’ of his own sperm to his doctor.
“I knew I was going to get nervous doing it there, so Lou called and asked if I could do it at home,” he said, referring to collecting a sperm sample.
Jase then joked that he felt “ like an ambulance driver ” as he rushed to the clinic to deliver the specimen within a set time limit.
“I finally got there, walked in and the waiting room was packed,” he said. “I kept my back to everyone and I wait by the window with my brown paper bag.”
Jase put his head in his hands and continued, “The only bag we had in the house was an old party gift bag, so I’m sitting there with a bag of stars and balloons.”
Distraught: He put his head in his hands and continued, “The only bag we had in the house was an old party gift bag, so I’m sitting there with a bag of stars and balloons.”
After Jase discreetly handed the bag to a nurse, he was confronted by someone else in the waiting room just as he was about to go out the door.
He said, “It was just then that I turned around, I put my hand on the door to leave and a guy leans on his door and says,” Hey. Big fan, love the show. “
Jase then burst out laughing, while his bewildered colleagues giggled with him.
This bizarre confession comes after Jase’s co-host, Polly ‘PJ’ Harding, recently pulled the show live on air.
