A mother has made a plea to Taylor Swift after her daughter was hospitalized and will miss the pop star’s current Australian tour.

Katie Healy from Innisfail, Queensland, took to Instagram over the weekend to explain that her eight-year-old daughter Evelyn was airlifted to Townsville University Hospital last week after suffering from streptococcus pneumoniae and empyema.

Although the young woman is recovering well, it is certain that she will miss the Sydney concert.

Katie took the opportunity to get close to the global megastar as she shared pictures from her sick daughter’s hospital room.

‘If there is any way [Taylor] “I could find time to send a little video to Evie, or just a comment on my post, it would mean a lot to a girl who now has to spend her Eras Tour life experience in the hospital,” he began.

The mother went on to explain that she purchased the tickets for Evelyn and her sister Bethany in June of last year.

For the past eight months, the family had been diligently preparing the costumes, learning all the songs, and discussing the concert.

“Talking about the era we wanted to dress in and all the possibilities was really, really fun,” she continued, before adding, “It’s been months in the planning.”

The Queensland mum also encouraged Swifties to repost her daughter’s story widely, in the hope the star will see the message.

Many Swifties offered their support in the comments of the post, with one writing, “Sending hugs and support on Taylor Swift’s mission.”

“Hope you get a quick video from Taylor,” another added, while someone else commented: “Come on Taylor save the day!”

“I hope TS beats xx,” wrote one more.

“The Swiftie community is incredibly kind and beautiful,” Ms. Healy responded.
