Princess Tatiana of Greece looked in high spirits as she attended an Olympic handover ceremony with her mother-in-law following their separation announcement.
The Greek royal, 43, cut an elegant figure as she opted to don a vibrant matching sapphire blue ensemble while accompanying Queen Anne Mary, 77, to the April 26 event.

According to HELLO! Tatiana, born in Greece and Venezuela, will retain the title of princess after her divorce, although, since the Greek monarchy has been defunct since 1967, it carries social prestige rather than constitutional significance.

Tatiana beamed as she put her best fashion foot forward in a printed blouse, flared pants set, and tan heels.
She opted for chic accessories, including a printed white clutch and a gold necklace with matching drop earrings.
The royal opted for a smoky eye makeup look, featuring eyeliner, shimmery eyeshadow and mascara with a touch of lip gloss. She also let her blonde locks hang loose in a sleek, wavy ‘do.
Queen Anne Mary, widow of the late Constantine II, wore a monochrome polka dot dress and a cream jacket.
The pair were pictured chatting as they watched the historic event unfold in the world’s first modern Olympic stadium.
At the exit, which came just a week after the announcement, the honored missions of the Hellenic Olympic Committee meant the transfer of Greece to France.
Greek Olympian Antigoni Ntrismpioti passed the iconic flame to French Olympic gold and silver medalist in figure skating, Gabriella Papadakis.
He then gave it to Frenchwoman Béatrice Hess, multiple Paralympic gold medalist in swimming.

Prince Nikolaos married Venezuela-born Princess Tatiana, 43, in August 2010, and the couple had just been photographed together at a thanksgiving service for her father in Windsor in February. Constantine died in Athens last year of a stroke at the age of 82.
The wedding, which was described as ‘Mamma Mia, but with aristocrats’, was attended by royals from around the world, including monarchies from the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Spain.
In a statement posted on the Greek royal family’s website, it said: After fourteen years of marriage, [Tatiana and Nikolaos] have chosen to amicably dissolve their union.
‘This decision was made with great care and mutual respect, reflecting the depth of appreciation for each other and the moments they have shared.
‘Your future interactions will continue to be guided by these same principles of respect and understanding, as you transition into a relationship rooted in a strong friendship.
‘They will continue to live and build their lives in Greece, a place they both call home. The Family will always support them.”
The simple Tatiana already seemed at odds with the extravagance of Greek royal life, and asked the nobles and princes present to change their formal clothes for caftans and sandals.
Shortly after her wedding, she admitted: ‘I don’t feel like a princess. I don’t feel like I married a prince, with a title. Well, actually yes, he is my prince, but nothing more.
Tatiana was born in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, and went to boarding school in Switzerland before studying sociology at Georgetown.

The couple attended the event just a week after the palace made a public announcement about the separation.
The couple met in 2003 during a skiing holiday in Switzerland and announced their engagement six years later, with the wedding being one of the high society events of the year.
Shortly after their wedding, Princess Tatiana left her job as an event planner for designer Diana Von Furstenberg, MailOnline previously reported.
He lived in Chelsea in London and visited Greece with Nikalaos for the first time in 2004, before moving there permanently in 2013.
Nikalaos, who grew up in Britain, had always dreamed of living in Greece, but his wife didn’t feel the same way.
The aristocrat did not speak any Greek and told Vogue about her feelings upon arriving in the country, which already showed how uncomfortable she felt.
She told the fashion magazine: “I remember when we arrived, it felt like everyone was traveling in the opposite direction.”
The wedding, on the island of Spetses, Greece, was the high society event of the year attended by royal dignitaries from across Europe.

In the same interview, she revealed that her new real life was quite different from what one would expect.
He continued: ‘I live a very simple life here. I work, I go to the supermarket, I cook, I walk my dog and the Greek people have welcomed me like anyone else.’
Greek media have reported murmurs of estrangement in recent months, with an appearance at Windsor’s funeral in February being the last time they were seen together in public.
The couple does not have children. Prince Nikolaos is the third son of King Constantine II, the last reigning monarch of Greece, who died on January 10 last year after suffering a stroke.
