Queen Máxima of the Netherlands today looked typically cheerful in a canary yellow ensemble as she continued her work on financial inclusion in Zoetermeer, in the west of the country.

The Dutch royal, 53, made her entrance in a lemon-coloured coat, which she wore open to reveal an equally eye-catching roll-neck top and a pair of wide-leg trousers, both in the same bright hue.

Máxima seems to be a big fan of the color after she was recently photographed wearing a yellow silk dress at a tech event in Singapore.

The mother of three paired her outfit with a pair of round-toed tan boots and a matching clutch, which she carried under her arm.

The radiant queen completed her look with a pair of statement gold earrings.
