The couple will visit Sweden, Norway, Greenland and the Faroe Islands this summer.
Announcing their upcoming plans, the Palace’s Instagram account confirmed that the King and Queen will travel aboard the Royal Yacht Dannebrog.
In early May, the couple, who have been married for almost 20 years and share four children, will visit Sweden for the first time.
Next week, Frederik and Mary will make an official state visit to Norway.
The Palace also outlined plans for the King and Queen of Denmark to visit the Faroe Islands and Greenland in June and July.

The Palace said in a statement: “The first state visits will provide the opportunity for the new King and Queen to meet the sovereigns of Sweden and Norway, marking the close relations between the Nordic monarchies.”
The Royal Yacht Dannebrog has served as a cruise ship for the Danish royal family since May 1932 and has traveled more than 800,000 miles.
The luxury yacht welcomes the Royal Family both on their private holidays and during their official engagements abroad.
The royal compartment of the yacht still contains furniture and accessories dating back to 1879 that were on board the family’s previous yacht.
Frederik and Mary are keen sailors and took part in a yacht regatta in Sydney in December 2017 when they visited the Queen’s hometown for Christmas.
In August 2022, the couple competed against each other in a sailing ‘Royal Race’ at the Rockwool Danish Sailing Grand Prix, in which Mary narrowly beat her husband.
