Princess Eugenie was photographed yesterday in a daring black dress as she boarded a bus carrying guests to the Duke and Duchess of Westminster’s wedding party.

The 34-year-old royal stripped off the elegant green dress she wore while attending the wedding service of Hugh Grosvenor, 33, and Olivia Henson, 31, at Chester Cathedral.

Eugenie, mother of two and daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, was among 400 guests at the wedding dubbed the “society wedding of the year.”

After the wedding service, guests were seen leaving the venue in coaches for a lavish reception at the Grosvenor family seat, Eaton Hall, on the outskirts of Chester. The newlyweds have kept details of the party a secret, although it has been reported that guests ate key lime pie during the party.

Eugenie looked glamorous in a long black dress, with short sleeves and colorful floral embroidery on the front as she headed to the post-wedding event.

She paired the dress with gold high-heeled sandals and a matching gold clutch.

Eugenie, who attended Marlborough College like the bride, wore her brunette locks in a sleek up-and-down hairstyle, letting some of her locks fall over her shoulders.

The royal, who appeared to be attending the event alone, without her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two sons August, three, and Ernest, four, completed her ensemble with classic makeup.

Opting for a natural matte base and pink lips, she emphasized her eyes, using black eyeliner and dark, smoky eyeshadow.

Her daring party dress was a far cry from the olive-colored pleated dress she wore during the cathedral service.

Eugenie paired the green midi dress with a cream-colored headdress, a delicate necklace and gold earrings.

King Charles’ niece Eugenie was not the only royal at the wedding – the Prince of Wales, 41, also attended.

As part of the groom’s wedding party, Prince William was photographed performing his duties as an usher during the service.

Other socialites attending the wedding included Charlie van Straubenzee and his wife Daisy, whose daughter Clover is believed to have Prince Harry as best man.

Also in attendance were William Van Cutsem, an old friend of Prince William and another of George’s godfathers, and Charlie van Straubenzee, also a good friend of William and Harry.

And, of course, it wasn’t just the society guests whom thousands of well-wishers gathered outside the cathedral to watch: it was the high-profile couple, the Duke of Westminster Hugh Grosvenor and his girlfriend Olivia Henson (now the Duchess). . .

The Duke (reportedly known to his friends as ‘Hughie’) proposed to Olivia in 2023 at their family seat, Eaton Hall in Cheshire, after dating for two years.

The aristocrat released a statement about the happy news, saying: “The Duke of Westminster and Miss Olivia Henson are delighted to announce that they are engaged to be married.”
