Princess Eugenie has shared sweet photos of her sons August and Ernest spending time with their grandmother, the Duchess of York, during a festive weekend outing.
Eugenie, 34, documented her trip to Windsor Great Illuminated Park on Instagram, as the young royal announced that everyone was looking forward to the countdown to Christmas.
Photographs and videos of their visit showed Eugenie and Sarah Ferguson, affectionately known as Fergie, pointing out different attractions to August, three, and Ernest, one, while the children seemed delighted with their surroundings.
Eugenie captioned the post: “The start of the Christmas countdown was made even more magical this year by spending some time with Grandma and Mom at Windsor Illuminated.
“I’d love to know what festive things you do,” the princess addressed her followers, before tagging Fergie.
While Eugenie wore a black puffer coat, Fergie wore a bright red jacket emblazoned with the message “Educate a Girl, Change the World” on the back.
Eugenie’s post comes a day after Fergie, 65, shared her own clip of her visit to Windsor Illuminated on TikTok.
She also revealed how she will ‘spoil’ her grandchildren on Christmas morning, sharing with her followers the different treats they can expect on the big day.

Sarah shared the 10-second clip on her social media account where she was seen enjoying a carousel ride on a ‘giant rooster’ and strolling among the stunning festive lights while holding hands with each grandchild.
Speaking in the video, he said: “I’m in Windsor Park all lit up and I’m with my grandkids and my daughter and I’m having the best day.”
‘Saturday afternoon in the dark. I’m on a giant cock, yay!’
In the background, Eugenie appears to laugh affectionately as she watches her mother enjoy the festive stroll.
Sarah looked ready to brave the cold in a cozy red fleece, gray gloves and a knee-length black puffer jacket to protect her from the winter air.
And it’s not just exciting days that the Duchess’ grandchildren will have to look forward to this Christmas.
Yesterday, Sarah revealed how she treats her grandchildren at Christmas: spoiling them with sweets and lots of treats.
The Duchess is the grandmother of Princess Beatrice’s children, daughter Sienna, three, and stepson Wolfie, eight, as well as Princess Eugenie’s sons August, three, and Ernest, one.

Prepared for the season of pampering, Sarah said: “Grandmas exist to pamper their grandchildren, don’t they?
‘I will fill their stockings with sweets, toys and treats. “I think I’m as excited as they are,” she said. Hello!.
And the stockings are prepared early. Sarah told the publication that she organizes it annually and will always buy gifts in advance rather than panic buying right before the big day.
‘I have plans for a long road ahead. I see things I think people would like throughout the year and I save them. Every year I also like to have special ornaments made for everyone’s tree,” the loving grandmother shared.
As the Prince and Princess of Wales revealed their plans to spend the festive period in Norfolk, Sarah said she is also looking to rest and relax, and will spend Christmas as usual with friends and family.
An avid humanitarian, Sarah is also pledging to spend part of the festive period working for charities, including her efforts to support Big Give, which aims to raise money to help people with cancer.
Sarah is also a patron of Prevent Breast Cancer, following her own experiences with the disease.
The mother of two became the first member of the royal family to join TikTok in October earlier this year, and marked the occasion with a touching video reflecting on her cancer journey.

Sarah, who currently resides at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Park, made her debut on the social media app earlier this year under the username sarahtheduchess.
It comes after the Duke of York’s ex-wife decided to get into the festive spirit with a trip to Vienna.
The royal once again took to TikTok, where she shared a clip of herself preparing to depart the European nation without the company of her ex-husband of 30 years, Prince Andrew.
Speaking in a TikTok video of Heathrow departures, the Duchess of York told her followers: “It’s Monday and I’ve decided we need to get the Christmas spirit going.”
‘Heathrow Airport on the way to Vienna. And what do I do in Vienna? I’m going to see (the) Christmas fair.’
Trying to spark some festive cheer, Fergie continued: ‘Airports are very exciting. It’s a new adventure, a new day, a new journey. Come on’.
Sarah has been enjoying the start of the holiday season and just last month she took a trip to Sydney, Australia, where she arrived for a book signing for her new novel, A Woman of Intrigue, an uplifting historical mystery romance.
Fergie’s ex-husband and brother of the King is currently embroiled in an ongoing feud following older brother Charles cutting off Andrew’s financial lifelines.
Princess Eugenie appears with her children: Auggie (pictured right), three years old, and Ernest (pictured left), one.
The king last month stopped paying his disgraced brother’s £3m-a-year security bill at the 30-bedroom Windsor Royal Lodge.
He urged the Duke of York to move to more modest accommodation as part of an extraordinary dispute called “the siege of the Royal Lodge”.
But Andrew has since been allowed to stay at the property in Windsor Great Park after convincing Palace authorities he had raised enough funds to support himself.
The exact source of Andrew’s funding remains a mystery, but it has been hushed up that the Keeper of the Privy Purse, Sir Michael Stevens, approved the funding to come from legitimate sources.
