Prince William feels ‘lonely’ amid Kate Middleton’s cancer battle

Prince William faces his own struggles as his wife, Kate Middleton, continues to recover from her battle with cancer. The Prince of Wales has taken time off to support Princess Kate during her treatment and care for her children, allowing her to recover peacefully. However, the situation has brought its own set of challenges for William.

British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard said Fox News Digital that William must be dealing with significant emotional stress along with his responsibilities as a future king. “The emotional toll and immense responsibility as a future King must present its own obstacles,” Chard said.

“I imagine Prince William has suffered his own private turmoil, as his father and his wife receive cancer treatment at the same time and without the support of his brother, Prince Harry,” she told the outlet.

“It must… be a lonely time.” She continued. “I know he cherishes every moment he spends with his wife as a loving husband and family man…Both the Prince and Princess of Wales have had time to reflect on life while the princess was undergoing treatment.”

And he added: “They have spent as much time as possible together and, I imagine, they are closer than ever. “They have endured a surprising wake-up call and will want to take advantage of every day and live the best life of their lives.”

This update comes amid reports that Kate did not serve as an inspecting officer for the traditional Colonel’s Review on Saturday. The duchess’s absence underlines the seriousness of her health problems and the added pressure on Prince William as she navigates his personal and royal duties during this difficult time.
