Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has slammed Kanye West and said the rapper will not be welcome in the state.

Addressing the 46-year-old hip hop artist’s proposed tour scheduled for 2025, the Prime Minister expressed skepticism about a show in Melbourne.

Rumors circulated last year that West intended to visit Melbourne to meet his wife Bianca Censori’s family. However, questions were raised about his ability to obtain a visa to enter Australia after his series of anti-Semitic comments.

“This individual has a long history of not only making offensive comments, but also deeply anti-Semitic comments,” Prime Minister Allan said.

“That individual and those comments have no place in Victoria.”

The politician claimed that Victorian residents would largely be on her side.

‘I don’t think that individual would be particularly welcome either. We are a state that is proud of our great diversity,’ he added.

However, the Prime Minister said allowing West into the country was a matter for the federal government.

“Since the power around visas rests with the federal government, I am not going to interfere in their decision-making,” he said.

In an interview with talk show host Alex Jones in early December, Kanye praised Hitler for his “redemptive qualities.”

He also maintained that “the Holocaust is not what happened” and promoted the conspiracy theory that black people are the real Jews.

West’s rants saw him lose lucrative contracts with The Gap, Adidas and Balenciaga and more.

He was also fired by his management team at Creative Artists Agency.
