Alex paired her sleeveless knee-length dress with strappy tan heels, showing off her indigo pedicure.

Her shiny locks were styled in gorgeous waves and her natural beauty was enhanced with a subtle smokey eye and a hint of mascara.

Alex’s stylish walk comes after she admitted to MailOnline that she didn’t know she was expecting and blamed her symptoms on trying veganism.

‘I just felt really tired, but in hindsight I was pregnant of course. I thought it was veganism that left me with no energy, but it wasn’t,” Alex said.

Despite being pregnant before, Alex said she was completely oblivious to the signs she was expecting and instead thought it had to do with trying a meat and dairy free diet.

The presenter continued: ‘This is ridiculous in a third pregnancy, but I didn’t realize the clues were there because frankly I blamed everything on veganism. I was so tired and hungry all the time and I thought that was it.

“But I told my husband I think we should do a test. And he said, “What? What?” – anyway, we did a test.’

Alex, who is already mother to two sons Teddy, four, and Kit, 23 months, admitted she and Charlie were “ecstatic” when they found out they were expecting a daughter, but acknowledged that having three young children is undoubtedly “hell”. ‘ will be sometimes.

She said of her unexpected pregnancy: “It was funny because we didn’t necessarily have a third planned, because we thought… We were so grateful to have the two boys and we just thought, ‘There you are.’

“So it was a big surprise. And when we also realized it was a girl, we were just ecstatic. Because I don’t know, it wasn’t something we ever expected, but actually three feels great and nice.

“And it’s going to be hell at times, I’m sure because we’ve got three under four and a half, so it’s going to be pretty demanding. We just feel super lucky, super lucky that it happened.”
