An arrest warrant has been issued for Ibraheem Yazeed, 30, who is being sought for first-degree charges and has a history of arrests for violent crimes, al.com reports.

Authorities actively looking for Yazeed have warned that the Montgomery man may be armed and dangerous.

The police had previously released two photos of an interested party after Blanchard, the stepdaughter of UFC hunter Walt Harris, was last seen on October 23 in a supermarket in Auburn, Alabama.

Auburn police chief Paul Register said: “Further investigation and analysis of evidence has found that Yazeed was at the same location as Blanchard was last seen and involved in taking Aniah against her will.

There is no reason to believe that Yazeed knew Blanchard, who may have been the victim of a car. The police say they expect more arrests to follow.

Yazeed was arrested and is previously on bail for charges of murder, kidnapping and first-degree robbery earlier this year. Those allegations stemmed from the beating of a 77-year-old man and related to other suspects.

He was also arrested in 2017 for a heavy battery of a law enforcement officer, records show. Yazeed pleaded guilty to drug possession in 2015, was charged with attempted murder in 2012 and was charged with two counts of theft in 2011.

The Auburn police commissioner, Paul Register, said: “It is very worrying to know that someone who committed that type of crime was outside the community. We think this is someone who should be in custody. & # 39;

The police could issue the order against Yazeed because of & # 39; someone doing the right & # 39 ;, Register added.

Officials have not ruled out more arrests. Register added: & # 39; It is clear that focus has been on Aniah since the beginning. It's about giving them (family) some peace.

& # 39; This is a family that hurts. Regardless of the outcome, they want to know where their daughter is. & # 39;

The police say that evidence shows that her car indicates that she was injured and possibly fell victim to cheating.

Aniah & # 39; s sorrowful parents appeared on Good Morning America on Thursday, where they revealed that Beth Holloway, Natalee Holloway's mother, is helping with the search.

Natalee was 18 when she disappeared during a graduation trip to Aruba in 2005.

& # 39; It's frustrating. It has been 14 days out of 15 days. We just want our daughter to be found, & said Aniah & # 39; s mom Angela Haley-Harris GMA.

& # 39; I followed Natalee's case and I have always admired her for her strength – I just thought she was a great lady. She is a wonderful woman and I think she will be a great support for us, & she said.

& # 39; I know what it feels like to lose a child, but the situation with Natalee, her disappearance and what Beth has experienced, I cannot agree with that. I can now. I just feel that I needed her, I needed someone who knows what I'm going through, what we're going through. … I needed help because this is such a rare situation, & Haley-Harris added.

One of the younger children of Haley-Harris died earlier in a car accident.

Haley-Harris and Holloway were connected by Tim Miller, the founder of Texas EquuSearch, an organization that helps find missing people. Natalee Holloway was never found and is supposed to be dead.

Her family fears that the bubbling personality of Aniah could have put her in trouble.

& # 39; She just keeps everyone happy and happy. She's just so much fun. I don't like to say it, but this may have put her in this situation. She just trusted people that way, and I think somebody just used it, & # 39; her mother said Thursday morning.

The Aniah family also closed rumors that Aniah would meet a date the night she was missing, and said they had gone through her social media accounts and that Aniah was not communicating with anyone except her family and roommate.

One of the last messages Blanchard sent was a Snapchat to her roommate who said she was with a man she had just met. But Haley-Harris does not believe that Aniah sent that message because the & # 39; terminology & # 39; was inconsistent with the way her daughter spoke. She has not shared any details about that message.

On Wednesday, Auburn Police announced a possible interruption of the case and released two photos of a male stakeholder. The police say he is not a suspect and wants to talk to him.

The man is described as a black man in his early to mid 20s, weighing 200 pounds, and is between 5 & # 39; 8 and 5 & # 39; 10 in height. He was last seen in dark trousers, dark shoes and a hoodie with camouflage print with & # 39; Vans & # 39; in white letters on the back.

The police still shared this monitoring the last time Aniah was seen. She was seen in the store on South College Street in Auburn, Alabama, around 12.30 in the early hours of Thursday morning

Police said the suspect left the area in a Lincoln city car from 2000 that, according to investigators, is silver or gray.

& # 39; As part of the ongoing joint investigation with the Auburn Police Division and the Montgomery police into the disappearance of Aniah, investigators are trying to identify the person in the video and talk to him, & # 39; said the Auburn Police in a statement.

Aniah is a student at the Southern Union State Community College. She last communicated with a friend on October 23 just before midnight. Her family then reported her the next day.

She was last seen in surveillance footage at a South College Street supermarket in Auburn around 12.30 p.m.

The video was recorded just before her black Honda CRV drove away. Two days later, October 25, her black Honda CRV 2017 was found in an apartment complex about 50 miles away in Montgomery.

The car has damage to the left front tire. Cops said evidence recovered from her vehicle indicates that she was harmed and could be the victim of cheating.

The reward for information about her whereabouts is now $ 105,000. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey authorized a $ 5,000 reward for information in the case. UFC president Dana White, UFC hunter Jon Jones and MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz each pledged $ 25,000 each week.

Aniah & # 39; s stepfather Walt Harris is a renowned mixed martial artist and contender for the heavyweight title of UFC. He withdrew from a selection framework UFC fight against Alistair Overeem for December 7 due to the disappearance of Aniah.

& # 39; We do not believe that Aniah would be missing out of his own will & # 39 ;, Lee County District Attorney Brandon Hughes said at a press conference last week.
