Pillsbury fans certainly aren’t reaping any holiday cheer after the brand recently released this year’s version of its Grinch-themed cut-and-bake cookie dough.
The cookies were presented in a new Instagram positionFood blogger @Snackolator didn’t do it this week, but the design has left fans confused and even compared it to ‘green poop’.
The new cookie features three red hearts, which are intended as a nod to the character’s famous line in the movie, where they say his heart grew “three times” that day.
But what baffles people the most is what is next to the hearts.
Next to the hearts, there appears to be a green spot stamped on the cookie, and it’s leaving fans divided over what it actually should be.

Snackolator wrote in the caption that it was supposed to be a tree, but others believe it’s the Grinch, or worse.
“Looks like green poop,” one person bluntly wrote in the comments section.
Another agreed: “I’m so sorry but the Grinch head on the cookie looks like butt poop.”
“Cute concept, but it doesn’t look like the Grinch, it looks like green poop,” someone else wrote.
A second user joked: “Green Grinch poop.”
“They looked like paw prints,” someone else suggested.
The cookies are part of the brand’s Christmas line, which come in different shapes depending on the time of year.
For example, during the NFL season, they make cut-and-bake cookies shaped like footballs, and during Halloween, they make sugar cookies with pumpkin faces.
In the comments section of the post, many pointed out that the green Grinch on the cookie looked like ‘green poop.’
However, it looks like you might want to add a Pillsbury cake to your daily routine, even if it’s the elusive Grinch cookie.
In 2017, Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos revealed that he used to eat an entire can of Pillsbury cookies for breakfast every morning in the ’90s.
“When my wife and I got married, I ate a whole can; for a couple of years, I ate a whole can of Pillsbury cookies for breakfast every morning,” Bezos said in a conversation during that year’s Summit Series.
‘Then I would wake up in the morning, preheat the oven to 375. I would take out the baking sheet.
‘I would open Pillsbury cookies. Put them there, with butter! And I would eat the whole can.
