Piers Morgan has paid tribute, in his own way, to his old show Good Morning Britain.
The journalist presented the ITV morning show for five years before retiring in 2021 after an infamous on-air row over Meghan Markle.
Piers, 59, made a cheeky joke to celebrate GMB’s 10th anniversary on Monday, writing on Instagram: “Happy 10th anniversary to @GMB. I spent five fun and eventful years there and loved every minute.”
‘Here’s a photo of me from my first (April 13, 2015) and last (March 9, 2021) day… divorce is never easy!’ He added a photo of himself in 2015 with a photo of his co-star Susanna Reid, along with one of him storming off the set in 2021.
Piers left the show in 2021 after the presenter and ITV decided to part ways following a row over comments he made about Meghan Markle.

His departure was sparked by an on-air dispute with weather presenter Alex Beresford in a discussion about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The dispute led to Piers quitting live streaming with his show. departure announced by an ITV representative shortly afterwards.
Piers made reference to the dispute with Alex in his Instagram post. After a follower commented: ‘Have you kissed and made up with Alex yet?’ He replied: ‘that won’t happen…’
In a nostalgic mood, Piers shared another photo of himself with Susanna on Monday, telling his X followers that the photo was taken at ‘8:30am on our first morning at @GMB working together… @ susannareid100 looks traumatized.’
Susanna opened up about her close bond with her former co-host in an interview to mark the anniversary.
The TV presenter, 53, credited Piers with making her a “better, tougher broadcaster” and explained how they are still personally connected.
Speaking about their friendship during an interview with The Mirror, Susanna said: “I’m still friends with Piers. Last week we were writing a story about potholes. I got a text from Piers saying: ‘You’re currently filming in the car park at the side of my house in Sussex. “I can tell you personally what the potholes are like.”
“So he still looks at me and tells me what he thinks. And she looks, personally we are still very connected. ‘He played a huge role in the success of our program.’

“I have a lot to thank him for. He made me a better broadcaster. He toughened me up. Not only did I go on air and train with the guests, I trained with Piers.
Susanna insisted she has no plans to follow her former colleague out the door and admitted she would stay on the show until they no longer wanted her.
She said: ‘I love it. Honestly, there is no better job in broadcasting. Every day you arrive at the same time and finish at the same time.
‘But what happens between 6 and 9 in the morning is always different. It’s so dynamic. You feel like you’ve exercised every morning. You can do anything once you’ve presented Good Morning Britain.’
