A 30-year-old woman was arrested for setting fire to the Pride flag outside Little Prince, a New York City restaurant, last week.
Angelina Cando was charged with arson as a hate crime and reckless endangerment as a hate crime.
Cando was also charged with criminal mischief for scrawling “Jesus is King” on the back of two NYPD squad cars.

The fire was seen slowly starting outside the restaurants as several cars passed by.

The woman was seen approaching the banner that read ‘Make America Gay Again’ in front of The Prince restaurant.
She is due in court in New York City later today.
Cando has been arrested in the past for threats, although the details of those crimes are unclear.
The incident sparked outrage among the clientele of the Little Prince fashion center.
