She is due in court in New York City later today.

Cando has been arrested in the past for threats, although the details of those crimes are unclear.

The incident sparked outrage among the clientele of the Little Prince fashion center.

The French hotspot is in the heart of SoHo and has been the target of homophobic attacks before.

A worker previously revealed that someone once tried to steal the Pride flag, which hangs proudly between an exterior wall of flowers.

Cando will appear in court this morning.

The New York police indicated that he had a midtown Manhattan address not far from the restaurant, but other details of his life have not yet been made public.

He is currently in custody.
