A group of Leicester players, including Harry Winks and Conor Coady, were seen jubilantly partying just hours after their 2-1 defeat against Chelsea on Saturday.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, who won promotion to Leicester last season before joining the Blues in the summer, triumphed on his return to the King Power as goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez put the west London club just one point behind second-placed Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Leicester, after slipping to 16th in the table with their sixth defeat of the campaign, sacked Steve Cooper on Sunday afternoon, just five months into his tenure as Foxes boss.

Images obtained by a Danish media Ekstra Bladet shows Leicester players letting their hair down at Copenhagen’s Museum nightclub on Saturday night.

Mail Sport understands that the Leicester players had traveled to Denmark to enjoy an early Christmas party ahead of the busy festive period.

In the video, the Leicester players are celebrating and partying to Kayne West’s All of the Lights while one person holds a sign that says: “Enzo, I miss you.”

'Enzo I miss you' is depicted on the poster

Winks seems to enjoy the sign and captures the moment on his phone.

In footage obtained by Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet, a sign reading “Enzo, I miss you” is displayed as players, including Winks (right), laugh and film the moment on their smartphones.

The sign, which bears the nightclub’s logo and appears to be a message addressed to former Leicester boss Maresca, appeared to spark several laughs and jokes within the Foxes camp, with Harry Winks smiling and filming the party on his mobile phone.

In a separate video, Coady can be seen hugging his former England international teammate as they enjoy the wild scenes at the nightclub.

According to sources from the Danish media, Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen were also at the nightclub.

Leicester did not comment on the video when approached by Mail Sport.

An X account, which posted the video, said: ‘I wonder what Leicester fans will say about this? Lose at home and then some players travel to Denmark to go clubbing? And also the dismissal of the coach.

Cooper, who was sacked as Leicester manager on Sunday, was hired on a three-year contract last summer and leaves despite leaving the club in the best position of the three promoted Championship teams last season.

The change in approach between Cooper and former boss Maresca is believed to have rattled a number of players, while Foxes bosses were also alarmed by the level of some performances.

Leicester, whose next game is at Brentford on Saturday, will try to have a replacement in time for the game at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Foxes can once again turn to Graham Potter, who discussed the position twice, after the dismissal of Brendan Rodgers in the spring of 2023 and after the departure of Maresca, without taking the final step.
