Patsy Palmer has sparked speculation she may be returning to Albert Square after she was pictured near the set of EastEnders this week.
The 52-year-old actress, known for playing Bianca Jackson on the long-running soap opera, made a brief appearance on the show earlier this year.
However, these new images suggest she could return for a longer period ahead of the soap’s 40th anniversary next year.
Patsy recently reprised her role as Bianca for a brief period following the departure of her on-screen daughter, Shona McGarty, from the show.
Bianca followed her daughter Whitney (Shona) back to Walford, however Whitney soon decided to pack her bags and move.

Bianca remained in the Plaza with her sister Sonia and her partner Reiss but after confronting them she decided to leave again.
During the emotional scenes leading up to his exit, he confessed to Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) that he had been struggling with depression.
Viewers watched as Bianca drunkenly got behind the wheel of her van, after vowing to create a life for herself elsewhere.
Before her exit, Bianca told Reiss she knew he had stolen money from his comatose wife Debbie to fund his IVF treatment with Sonia.
Reiss has since murdered Debbie and Sonia is unaware that she is expecting a baby with a killer.
So Bianca could return to expose Reiss or, hopefully, not become his next victim.
Other stars returning for the anniversary include David Wicks (Michael French) and Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman).
Boss Chris Clenshaw told The Sun: ‘As we approach our 40th anniversary, I think the nostalgic element means a lot.
‘As we look ahead to autumn and the end of the year, many surprises await us.’
Asked if that meant the return of some favorite characters, Chris replied: “Maybe. It all depends on the story and where the characters are.”
“But it has to come from the character, it has to come from the story.”
